Who's that Girl?

Rachel Hendrickson is an all-American girl next door who exudes sweetness and warmth with just a touch of spice. She hails from Overland Park, KS where she dreamed of being a singer ever since she was a young child. Rachel studied piano and flute before finding her true passion as a singer and actor. She began taking voice lessons in middle school and was very active in her high school choirs and drama club. After high school, Rachel decided to pursue singing and attended Chapman University in Orange, CA. She received a BM in Voice Performance from Chapman and continued her vocal training at Florida State University where she received a MM in Voice Performance. In 2009, Rachel travelled to Germany in the hopes of starting a career in opera. She spent three months auditioning for agents and opera houses as well as focusing on her German language skills. At the end of three months, Rachel decided to move back to the States and made a cross-country move to the East Coast and the city of brotherly love. It was in Philadelphia where Rachel would transition back to musical theatre and would also explore a career as a commercial actor and model. Rachel has relished in various opportunities as a working artist and performer including: petite fashion model on QVC, commercial actor and model on projects for Hershey Park, Singtrix Karaoke, and Benari Jewelers, soprano section leader at Church of the Holy Trinity in Philadelphia, professional murder mystery actor, children’s theatre performer with Family Stages, Rehoboth Summer Children’s Theatre, and Broadway Theatre of Pitman, and even an apocalyptic zombie for Steel City’s Halloween comedy show. In addition to performing, Rachel is also a voice teacher and loves to impart her knowledge and passion for singing to students of all ages and skill levels.

Hendrickson is sensational as Phyllis [in Iolanthe with The Savoy Company], with a beautiful clear, crisp voice that can fill the Academy or sound out over a garden.
